The extra flat self-adhesive metal disc is used as a primer, counterpart for magnets. These metal plates are not magnetic, but a magnet sticks to the discs. Thanks to its minimal thickness ideal for use as a packaging or folder closure.
The double-sided adhesives bond extremely well with metal, wood, most plastics, Acrylic, hard leather, fabrics, rubber, and countless other materials. The adhesive is suitable for smooth surfaces as well as for lightly textured and/or lightly porous surfaces. Steel discs attract to magnets and we have a selection of metal discs 10mm – 50mm diameter which suit our pot magnets.

Thanks to the strong adhesive glue on the back side, you can attach these metal discs onto nearly any surface. You can use the galvanised steel discs for crafts & hobby projects, and to turn any non-magnetic materials (e.g. aluminium, stainless steel, plastic, etc) or objects (non-magnetic fridge doors, whiteboards, message boards) into magnetic surfaces.
The metal plates are not rustproof and therefore not suitable for outdoor use. Use these metal discs as counterpart to magnets, these are not magnets!

CAN BE USED IN PLACE OF MAGNETS – SAVING MONEY
These steel discs offer added flexibility when working with magnets. For starters, they can be used in place of a magnet in some applications, because they make an ideal target for other magnets to attract to and attach with. And this can dramatically lower your production or project expenses, as discs cost significantly less than magnets.
A MULTITUDE OF USES
In addition, due to their ultra thin 0.3 mm profile, these blank steel discs can be used to create a variety of magnetic catches, latches, luggage, door and box closures and mechanisms – again, without the cost of an additional magnet. As a result, these discs are also ideal for a wide variety of custom cabinetry creations, scrapbook attachments, door and box closures, sign and banner stays – as well as closure mechanisms on furniture, luggage, bags, holsters, wall-hangings, draperies and tarps.
For best results, we recommend that the steel disc be slightly larger than the attaching magnet in diameter.
